Wordly Wise

History is more than bones, legends and ashes. It’s alive — it speaks to you, chases you. My history is ancient. It is old — old as a crumbling stone or rusted blade. There is blood and treachery, even murder in Clan Colquhoun. Our motto, Si Je Puis, or “I will if I can,” captures the spirit of men who would defend their king to the death. Scotland, so far away, but forever in my heart and blood.
